About this Webinar

We understand that laboratories seeking accreditation for the first time face many challenges regarding how to implement the standard and the expectations of your accreditation body assessor.
These questions are magnified if this is your first experience in a regulated laboratory setting and with ISO/IEC 17025 in particular. This webinar is intended to help you understand what to expect in that initial audit.

We will be joined by Tracy Szerszen, president and operations manager of Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation (PJLA), who will help you answer the following questions as you prepare for your assessment:

  • What do I need to have readily available for my assessor?
  • What procedures and records do I need to have in place?
  • How much data should be available to demonstrate competency of test protocols?

Our goal with this webinar is to help you learn about the accreditation process, what to expect during an initial accreditation assessment and the top common findings detected on an assessment.

Takeaways

  1. You will learn what assessors are really looking for in your assessments and common findings
  2. You will examine methods to ensure that your lab is following your procedures without deviation
  3. You will review the necessity of employee competency and how to document it appropriately
  4. You will learn how process automation can dramatically reduce your risk of a finding
